Main Upgrades from the Previous Year
The Wagoneer Series II and III received an all-new 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo in 2023, with increased horsepower and torque capacity. This engine is about 15 percent more efficient than other V-8 engines. The entry-level trim comes with a 5.7L HEMI V-8 as standard. Also, the Carbide Package is only available for Series II this year.
Interior Layout and Options
The Carbide Package comes with black interior accents, a reversible cargo mat, a cargo cover, and a panoramic tri-pane sunroof. This lineup has the best-in-class passenger space for all rows and more cargo space behind the rear seats.
Exterior Layout and Options
The Carbide Package also includes some exterior features, such as black exterior accents, adjustable roof-rail crossbars, and gloss black painted wheels with an option for 22-inch polished wheels with black inserts. The vehicle’s floor stands 10 cm above the ground, thanks to the Quadra-Lift air suspensions available for all models. There are nine exterior colours available for the lineup.
Technology, Infotainment, and Connectivity
All trims are packed with top-notch tech and infotainment features, such as the Uconnect 5 system, one of the fastest available. It also comes with a head-up display and a 10.1-inch configurable touchscreen display with Wi-Fi and mobile compatibility (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto).
Also, all trims come with a 10.25-inch passenger screen with functions like a co-pilot and Amazon Fire TV. This lineup also debuts an industry-first: the McIntosh premium audio system. This sound system has a 10-inch subwoofer with a 3D surround system and 19 speakers.
Safety and Driver-Assistant Features
All modes come with over 120 safety features as standard, which means it’s one of the safest SUVs available. Standard features include drowsy driver detection, adaptive cruise control, head-up display, and traffic sign recognition. There’s also a 360-degree camera, and hitch line-up assists, with camera zoom and active grid lines.
