2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Jeep Grand Cherokee set a benchmark in the SUV market 30 years ago, and the car evolved into a family of vehicles. It marks the 5th generation of quality SUVs for 2023, offering a few exciting new features.
Changes From the 2022 Model
The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee has all-new architecture, including interior and exterior design. The Trailhawk is now exclusively equipped with the 4xe plug-in hybrid drivetrain, and on the Limited model, you’ll get a nine-speaker audio system as a standalone option.
Moreover, the Limited model has a standard Uconnect 5 NAV with a 21.3cm digital touchscreen. This is also standard in the Overland model. If you choose the standalone option, then the Overland and Summit models come with a 19-speaker Mcintosh audio system.
Features and Specs
The Jeep Cherokee comes with plenty of safety features to satisfy market demand. Each trim has driver-assistance features, including lane-assist, pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, and semi-autonomous driver modes.
Interior and Exterior
The Cherokee is a beautifully designed car with a modern and comfortable interior. The touchscreen is compatible with Android and Apple devices and comes with SiriusXM satellite radio.
Performance and Towing Capacity
You can get the Grand Cherokee in two engines, both of which have an eight-speed transmission. The base engine is a 3.6 litre V6 engine that offers 293 hp with 260 lb-ft torque. You can expect to get about 12.3L/100km in the city, and on the open road, you’ll get around 9.2L/100km.
If you’re looking for something bigger, you can opt for the Overland, Summit, or Summit Reserve trims, which come with the 5.7-litre V8 engine. With this engine, you can get 357 hp and 390 lb-ft. Fuel economy drops with these models, giving you about 16.7L/100km in the city and 10.9L/100km on the open road. If you’re going to be towing, the V8 can tow 3,265 kgs.
Models and Pricing
There are six models in 2023 of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve. The starting price is $56,240 for the Laredo, and the Summit Reserve starts at $83,240. From here, you can add a variety of extras, which will push the price up.
