Rainbow Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ltd. has an opening for a progressive and motivated individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Technician. Candidates require a very strong work ethic with a professional, courteous, customer focused background. Applicant should have experience in all facets of automotive maintenance and repair. Preference will be given to a licensed, Chrysler trained technician. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of various makes and models of vehicles in a busy dealership environment. Major Responsibilities: -Diagnosis of customer concerns -Inspection, repair and maintenance of various vehicles -Installation of accessories -Work with service advisors to recommend preventative maintenance and necessary repairs -Mentor apprentice technicians -Complete required training & job knowledge and fulfill all licensing requirements -Enhance the dealership's reputation by providing excellent customer service -Perform any other duties as required Qualifications: -Red Seal Certified Automotive Technician -Dynamic self starter, detail focused, extremely well organized with excellent time management skills -Ability to work independently with a flexible work schedule, be punctual and reliable. -Solid command of the English language and strong communication skills -Good computer and typing skills -Broad understanding of automotive industry -Valid, clean, BC Driver's license
